Color Coding
- Blue: numbers, the decimal point, plus/minus sign, constants, and memory recall.
- Orange: operations involving two numbers, such as addition and division.
- Rosy: functions involving one number, such as percent and square root.
- Red: clear and delete actions.
- Green: the result or equals action.
- Black: calculator and tape actions, such as Print.

Keyboard
Use the numeric keypad to enter numbers. The keyboard Enter key performs the same result action as =. Use to remove the last digit and Delete to clear the current entry. The +, -, *, and / keys enter arithmetic operations.
Tape and Tape Buttons
Calculations are saved on the tape. Select an earlier number or operator to edit it, then use = to recalculate the tape and update the result.
Clearing Buttons
- removes the last digit from the current entry.
- C clears the current entry.
- AC clears the calculator and tape and resets active functions.
- MC clears memory.
Memory Buttons
- MR recalls the stored value into the current entry.
- M+ adds the current value to memory.
- M- subtracts the current value from memory.
- MC resets memory to zero.
Function Buttons
% applies a percentage calculation. √ calculates the square root of the current value.
Printing
opens a dialog where you can add a title, description, and footnote before printing the tape. Only the prepared tape document is printed, not the keypad or page controls.
Fractions
Fraction Bar /
Use / between the numerator and denominator.
Fraction Space ␣
Use ␣ between a whole number and its fraction.
DEC / FRA
DEC shows decimal results. FRA shows fraction results. You can switch modes after a calculation.
Mixed / Improper
Mixed-fraction mode uses compact notation such as 1 4/5. Improper-fraction mode shows the same value as 9/5.
Examples
- 3 / 4 = 3/4
- 5 ␣ 3 / 4 = 5 3/4
- 1/2 with FRA selected shows 1/2.
- 1/2 with DEC selected shows 0.5.
- 9/5 with mixed-fraction mode 1 4/5 selected shows 1 4/5.
- 1 4/5 with improper-fraction mode 9/5 selected shows 9/5.
- 2/3 + 4/5 = 1 7/15
